Tiffany Badges does not take its name from the Eastenders' character played by Martine McCutcheon The name is taken from the somewhat less attractive Louis Comfort Tiffany, the New York artisan and entrepreneur. He was most famed for his Art Nouveau glass work and was the son of Charles Tiffany, the jeweller (Tiffany & Co). Tiffany's work has a vibrancy and colour that has to be seen at first hand for its innovation to be fully appreciated. I started the business shortly after visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art which exhibits a large collection of his work. |
